Glass verandas can transform outdoor spaces and create the ideal space for entertaining friends and family. Our glass verandas can be customised to meet your specific needs. They also provide additional space that can work in any weather.

What Is The Cost Of A Glass Veranda?

Our qualified surveyor will visit your home to measure your property and discuss your needs. Our survey is completely free and will provide our team with the necessary information to create a design based on your requirements and give you a quote without obligation.

Is it necessary to obtain planning permission to build a glass canopy?

Planning permission is only required if the veranda exceeds 50% of your home’s floor space. Our surveyor can discuss if your veranda is larger than the acceptable size during the site survey.

A glass canopy does not require planning permission in most cases, as the canopy covers less than half of the ground floor area. The Open Space Concepts team will assist you in obtaining planning permission if necessary.

Is There Any Restriction On The Size Of Verandas?

Each of our Glass Rooms is custom-made to meet the needs of our customers.

Your veranda can be as big or as small as you like. During the initial site survey, you will have the opportunity to discuss the size and shape of your veranda with the surveyor. Our surveyor might recommend that you reduce the size of your veranda or increase it to fit your property’s size.

Is A Veranda Worth More Than My House?

A veranda can increase the value of your house and make it more appealing to potential buyers. You can instantly transform your home by adding a veranda. This will allow you to create a comfortable living space all year.

What Is The Glass Used To Make Your Glass Verandas?

Glass verandas are made with a combination of aluminium as the frame and toughened glass roofing panels. You can also get them with polycarbonate roofing. Powder-coated aluminium frames are durable and rust-resistant.

Which Colours Are Available?

White, anthracite, and ivory are our most popular colours. However, you can choose any colour you wish. You need to provide us with your RAL code. Our designers will then do the rest. Please note that there is an additional fee for this.

How Long Will It Take To Install My Glass Veranda?

Your glass veranda will be built, designed and installed in 6-8 weeks. After you have told us that you would like one of our Patio Awnings installed, our surveyor will visit you to measure and discuss your needs. The information will be sent to our design team, who will create a glass veranda tailored to your needs.

Before being delivered to your home, your veranda will have been made from the finest materials by our factory. One of our engineers will complete the installation in about a day. We will do everything possible to minimise disruption.
